Bodyguard nearing Rs 100 crore mark at Indian Box Office

Salman Khan in BodyguardSalman-Kareena starrer Bodyguard has almost touched Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office. According to trade sources, the movie has grossed Rs 96.26 crores in the domestic collection centres in the first six days. Siddique directed film has three more days to complete the week and it is expected to Rs 120 crores in its opening week.

Bollywood film Bodyguard has erased the records of Dabangg and 3 Idiots in the Indian Box Office. Dabangg and 3 Idiots had scored Rs 81.5 crores and Rs 80 crores in the first week. But Bodyguard has gone beyond their records by grossing Rs 85 crores in just five days. Now, it is inching towards Rs 100 crore mark with its collection of Rs 96.26 crores in six days run at the Box Office.

However, producers of the movie Bodyguard, which is made with a budget of Rs 60 crores, are very happy with its big collection. They had expected it to earn Rs 100 crores in first week, but it has almost fulfilled their wish in just six days. Now they hope that it will cross Rs 120 crores in another three days.

The following list is the day-wise break up of the Bodyguard's net collections:

  • Wednesday: Rs 21.51 crores
  • Thursday: Rs 18.5 crores
  • Friday: Rs 13.75 crores
  • Saturday: Rs 15 crores
  • Sunday: Rs 19 crores
  • Monday: Rs 8.5 crores
  • Total: Rs 96.26 crores
